Adam Khan joins Renault F1’s driver line-up to spearhead the team’s demonstration activities for 2009.

Adam will demonstrate the Renault F1 R28 at both city demonstrations and circuit presentations for World Series by Renault events.

Launched in 2003, the Roadshow programme has allowed more than two million people on four continents to share in a unique sporting spectacle and get up close and personal with Renault's F1 cars.

"The essence of our Roadshow programme is about taking F1 to the fans by driving on the streets of their city and opening the doors to this exclusive world," explains ING Renault F1 Team Managing Director, Flavio Briatore.

"It's about giving people the opportunity to approach the cars and drivers and to do things that would not be possible during a Grand Prix weekend."

Adam Khan is the Seat Holder for Team Pakistan and will take on the dual role of heading up the franchise and driving for his nation in the A1GP World Cup of Motorsport.

Following the dramatic launch of A1 Team Pakistan in front of the Lahore Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site, a group of investors led by the Khancheema Group has provided the foundation for the team and is developing the infrastructure of the business to build a successful future, and to continue to successfully represent Pakistan in the A1GP Series.

Adam says of the new A1GP season, "It is fitting that I have taken over the reins of the team as we head into a new chapter in the history of A1GP. I represented Pakistan in the first season, with the introduction of this new championship quickly establishing itself as one of the most exciting international racing series.
